Tire Pressure
Keeping the correct tire pressure (PSI) in your tires will keep you from being stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire. Low or high PSI can damage tires causing leaks and blowouts. Tire pressure should be checked monthly; you can find the correct PSI on the side of your tires, on the front driver-side door jam, or in the owner’s manual.
Rotate On Time
An important key for long lasting tires is rotating them on time. Tires wear down unevenly and if you never rotate your them then you could be replacing tires more frequently. Your tires should be rotated front to back every five- thousand miles. Tire stores generally leave a sticker in your windshield as a reminder for your next tire rotation.

Alignment issues
If you ever experience your car pulling to the left or right when you are driving straight, then you could have an alignment issue. Bad alignments can lead to fast tread deterioration. It is good to have your alignment checked periodically, this is something you can have done while having your tires rotated.

How To Check You Tire Tread
Tires are to be replaced when the tread is worn down to 1/16 of an inch. New tires have a tread wear indicator that is placed between the tread spaces on your tires. If your tire tread has worn all the way down to the indicator then replace your tires. You can also insert a penny between the tread spaces, if part of Lincoln's head is covered by the tread is good, if you can see all of Lincoln’s head then replace your tires.

Good Appearance
Over time brake dust and dirt get caught up in your tires, shortening the life of your tires. Cleaning your tires with degreaser, like Purple Power, cleans out all of the brake dust particles and dirt, leaving your tires looking great. After cleaning your tires apply tire shine to make them look brand new.
