Into his sight comes the peak, almost there he sees. Thousands of feet above the sea, a majestic scene he hopes to see.
His body aches as pain clouds the mind. Each grasp of rock leaves flesh behind. Each lift and pull his limbs scream, stop!
Face filled with determination, once again his gaze holds the mountain top in view. He thinks,
one more lift and one more pull, then the pain will be no more.
At last, he makes it.
A scene so great all pain is forgotten, only wonder, and awe is felt.
